·  January – February – Property assessment reviews are completed to identify grounds for an appeal, if any.

 

·  March - August – Appeal periods within the State of Alabama.  Disclaimer:  Note appeal periods vary among individual counties.  JOHN STANLEY & ASSOCIATES TAX APPEAL SERVICES, LLC will monitor and community with each of the sixty-seven (67) counties annual regarding their projected closure of the tax file, printing/mailing of valuation notices, appeal period (30-day required by the Code of Alabama) being and end dates and formal dates the Board of Equalization will convene for formal hearings.  Along with remaining abreast of appeal periods JOHN STANLEY & ASSOCIATES TAX APPEAL SERVICES, LLC, through direct authorization to represent, will obtain all written correspondence from the local assessment official’s offices to ensure all notification regarding our client’s subject property (s) is sent directly to JOHN STANLEY & ASSOCIATES TAX APPEAL SERVICES, LLC for property management of deadlines.  Along with these general guidelines, JOHN STANLEY & ASSOCIATES TAX APPEAL SERVICES, LLC will keep you informed of appeals and their results.

In the event that an appeal cannot be settled through discussion with the appraisal staff/local assessing officials, our experts are capable and confident that your best interests will be represented before the county Boards of Equalization.
